When you study with us, you'll develop practical expertise in management, marketing, finance, strategy and events delivery, including the legal frameworks, commercialisation, leadership, enterprise and governance of sport.
Throughout your studies, you'll find opportunities to build experience and grow your network, by completing work-related assignments and undertaking work experience placements. With so much sport on our doorstep, from globally-recognised teams, venues and brands, there's a huge opportunity to visit and learn from a wide range of places.
You will learn how to apply management theory, concepts and principles to sport management issues in a practical way. There is a strong emphasis on creativity and its application to real-life business challenges, such as running recruitment campaigns, developing marketing strategies or interpreting the likes and wants of consumers through market research.
You will enrol on the three year course which will give you the flexibility when you start your studies to choose a year on placement or to study abroad once you're here, so you would complete your degree over four years if you take this option.
